Heavy program month 2 week 3 day 1 done
Man, I can not explain how much I LOVED today’s workout. M2D4 of the heavy rope program has me beat!
But I love it for 2 reasons… first of all - is it just me, or does anyone else have to practically sprint to TRY and keep up with Dan?? No matter how fast I go, he’s always 10-20 skips ahead of me! I love this because I’m pushing hard with the lighter ropes. Second reason, so many of Dan’s talking points hit home HARD and it’s so motivating. Even if you feel like you’re failing, just keep going!

hard work and consistency pays off
Got some bad news at work today. They are restructuring and many of our positions got abolished. Doesn’t seem like they’ll actually help us find placement within a different department, so feels like we’re on our own. Funding runs out in April, so we have some time to find work. Things are still developing, so I’m not giving up hope that they’ll come through for us. Today just felt like a pure jump day to some music. 2326k jumps in 30 minutes. I’ll eventually get to your pace, Dan the man.
Starting week 2 of the heavy rope program of month 2. Day 1 is in the books, and I managed to beat a couple numbers from last week!
840/1000 1lb skips - which is up an extra 40 skips (yay!), 350/500 2lb skips, and I managed to finish all 100 pushups - on the knees - for this workout! 🤩
I got in my sweat for the day, and now I’m ready to enjoy the rest of my afternoon. Happy days dudes and dudettes! ☀️
