Been doing the thing since roughly April I think.

Of all the workouts, three have been my kryptonite:

  1. Those early workouts with the 1lb and especially 2lb rope.
  2. Tabatas with lots of double under sets
  3. All the ladder workouts/long sets.

How about you? Which workout(s) you know going in are burn?

Same. Did some old school Joseph Pilates contrology/mat pilates sequence. Currently testing out only 4x/week of JRD with active recovery Wednesday/Sunday and Saturday for play. Travel well and good luck!

Hey JRD!

Problem solving collab.

I got the complete (Lean and Get Strong) sets from Crossrope.

Small and big handle and the 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2 lb ropes.

How do you do today's workout with the 1/4, 1/2, and 1lb with only (2) handles and the 15 second breaks?

I just switched it up and did 1/2, 1, 1/2, 1, and 1/2.

Maybe I just gotta buy another set of handles.

Thoughts?

Checking in everyone!

Still here in MN doing the thing as summer wraps up, house (still) hasn't sold (yet), and kids are heading back to school.

Consistently hitting at least 4 and sometimes all 5 of the WODs.

Modding lots with bands without my pull-up bar (100lb band ain't no joke!) and simply for my own novelty.

Love seeing all the posts from JRD dude and dudette vets and rookies alike.

Stay gameful!

The 1/4lb to 1/2lb jump in the ladder workout was no joke....

Morning JRD nation!

Celebrating the results of JRD this morning.

Went on vacation Thursday - Sunday on the North Shore here in Minnesota.

Three days full of hiking, climbing, and keeping up with my three kids.

I didn't bring the jump ropes with to the campground (saving the wear and tear).

That said, I had the best endurance/stamina I've ever had, energy all day long and only wishing we could have done more.

If you're just starting out - keep doing the thing.

JRD works.
