Summer Shred Week 2 Day 4

Today was not as hot as yesterday (about 10 degrees Fahrenheit lower). Still worked up a sweat because I wasnโ€™t expecting the sun to wipe out the shaded area I was using, haha. Hope everyone doing this workout tomorrow is ready to do jumping lunges!

Summer Shred Week 2 Day 3

Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the week in my part of the world (according to local weather forecasts). No selfie today. Just thought I'd post for accountability purposes!

Other than that, the workout itself involved a lot of push ups and lunges (+ side plank holds). The jump rope moves weren't bad compared to the Double Unders from Day 1 or the Plyo stuff from Day 2. My knees are thankful for that ๐Ÿ˜…, though my triceps were screaming due to the push ups.

I think I have to start doing that for workouts that I do with my timer app instead of the JRD TV app (I noticed connection issues on some of my workout days)

I finished Week 2 Day 2 today!

I started Week 2 a day early yesterday due to scheduling issues (I need to have Friday and Saturday free this week so I'm trying to get the workouts done by Thursday)

Yeah, 1 minute of double unders is CRAZY. I just ended up doing them in sets of 10 (do 10 DU's, then boxer skip/side swing a little bit, then do 10 more DU's, then boxer skip, etc. for the full minute)

Summer shred Week 2 Day 2

Sweaty selfie time!

The days are getting hot so I decided to use a more shaded area of the parking lot instead of my usual spot at the park today.
And just like with all the other Tabata workouts Iโ€™ve done in the Shred Challenge so far, my body didnโ€™t feel it until about the third round through. I wanted to stop at round 4. High knees will gas you out quickly if you do them the right way ๐Ÿ˜œ

Summer Shred Week 2 Day 1
Hey JRD Community, howโ€™s it going? I opted to start Week 2 a day early due to scheduling issues for the upcoming week. Having to do double unders for an entire minute was ridiculous when I can barely do 20 seconds at a time. I ended up doing them in spurts instead for each round ๐Ÿ˜…
Opted to finish with pull ups post-workout today, since the park I use has pull up bars available. Itโ€™s my weakest Bodyweight exercise and I need to do more of them
