Yes I get these warning often when I wake up in the morning. I don’t pay any attention to them, it means I was very relaxed in my very deep sleep. I like that!

Thanks Aleta! I don’t actually have shin splints at all, in fact there is nothing wrong with my shins. It’s a different muscle group and my therapist has given me effective stretches and exercises that appear to be working. I could actually walk quite well today with relatively little pain. Hopefully in an other week I’ll be able to slowly start back with jumping.

Dam feet! 😂

Michał Tyburczy I’m doing fine. I’m looking at this jumping slowdown as an opportunity to focus on other areas, like DB workouts, pull ups, chin ups, etc. . Doing regular physiotherapy now and on the mend. Thanks for caring!

I’m in the same boat so you’re not alone! Don’t know when I’ll be back to jumping yet.

Thanks to Michael Ty for inspiring me to do something, even if I can’t do the thing right now. I had a great upper body workout with my DB, doing 7 exercises, 12 reps, and 5 sets. Ended it with 100 AbMat sit ups and 100 push ups. Have a great weekend everyone.

Update after seeing physical therapist: I have strained and irritated my left Extensor digitalis longus and tibialis anterior to the point where they are chronically tight, leading to excruciating upper foot pain. I will have to not jump for a while and let these heal. Lesson learned is that these muscles need regular stretching as well. I religiously stretch my calves but have forgotten about the front of my legs. Hmmmmm

Yes, that’s the right thing to do!

You got it Doug! I see what you’ve been doing and it’s awesome. It’s so hard not to keep pushing with the AMPs. It’s like “Oh look! I only have to do 25 more jumps to pass the next guy, and then only 5 more for the next ….” ad infinitum. 😅😂Hopefully we will both be back soon. My foot feels a bit better today.
