Modified this with lighter ropes for the one-minute sections. I did the 30-second sections with the 2-pounder but then tore some skin on my hand from how I was gripping it. Then did only light ropes for the last circuit to make sure I didn’t draw blood. I guess I need to wear gloves for that 2-pounder. Not my best but I did what I could do. 🤷🏻♂️✌🏻💪

Looks like October WODs will help me improve on my biggest weaknesses: heavy ropes, pull-ups, chin-ups, and burpees. But I am here for it! Let’s goooooo! Happy Friday! 💪😎😎❤️❤️

Holy cannoli today’s WOD is a beast! I subbed in the suggested burpee modifier to plank four out of ten times, but otherwise did it as directed.
It’s about a year ago now that I first tried a 10-minute beginner JRD workout and could barely get through it. So to anyone starting out and finding this hard, just stick with it and do your best. Things will start to click!!!

My least fave workouts are the pull-up chin- up days. Especially on a day where I’m in a cranky mood anyway. But I did it the best I could. I did inverse pull-ups, 5/5/4. For chin-ups, I got 5 in the first round, then 3/3. I’ll conquer this pull-up bar yet!!! ✌🏻❤️💪

It’s getting light later in the mornings, temps are cool, work is busy, things weighing on my mind…this was my mindset this morning unfortunately. But I shrugged it off and did today’s workout. I admit though that my flutter kicks were pretty sorry. Not so flutter-y. Haha. Anyway. Off we go. ❤️😎💪

Hey gang. Milestone to celebrate: I’ve officially lost 25 pounds since March when I first dared to weigh myself. March 15th I weighed in at over 198 pounds. Today I’m at 173. All from powering through these workouts and making some very basic diet changes. I’m so thankful to Dan and Brandon and to all of you who bother to read my overly long and too often posts. Let’s get it, people! If this 51-year-old dog can do it, so can all of us! 💪💪❤️❤️✌🏻✌🏻
