Good question! And I feel like your plan is a good one. I love the WODs that are available and you can easily choose from them to pick one that focuses on what you want to focus on that day (upper body, legs, just straight cardio, abs, whatever). As for setting goals, I like to try to improve upon workouts I do repeatedly. So, for instance, if there's a workout that has 30 seconds of push-ups and I normally top out at X number, next time I do that workout, try to do one more than that until that new number feels normal. I set baby step kinds of goals that I know I can achieve, but still push myself. Hope this helps!

Challenged myself to get 25 DUs every minute and...I did it! I am hoping this will inspire some of you because: I am not a natural athlete AT ALL. I smoked for over 20 years. I never exercised once in my life until my 30s (I'm now 52). Every time I'd think I'd hit my stride with something, I'd hit a major roadblock (lung collapse that put me in the hospital for 8 days, cancer treatments (all good now), minor injuries I'd constantly get from running, always something.). I eventually just thought...eh this is as good as it gets. But when I couldn't stand to look at myself in the mirror anymore, I found JRDs. And something clicked. A year ago, I could not do a single double-under, I could not do really any moves except regular bounce, etc. But if you stick with this, you can make awesome gains. Just don't rush it, while also being stubborn to do something just a smidge better than you did it the week before. Sorry for the long post. Just felt like sharing while the endorphins are flowing! Have a great day, everyone! Let's do it!

Sorry for your loss. Exercise is a great place to help heal in a lot of ways. Glad you are here!!! And congrats on those push-ups!

Another rainy day here so I worked out in my basement again and now cooling down on my porch. Wishing everyone an awesome day and happy jumping no matter where you are in your fitness journey. Let’s do our best!

Two more weeks left of JRD Max for me. Been having a blast. I'll either do Shredded Ninja next or just do the WODs for a while, which I always enjoy. But two more weeks! Let's go!

Way to get it done! And when you do it on a day when you didn't want to, bonus points. Nice work. : )
