My physical therapist has released me to jump! He has asked I start out at 15 second intervals for only 1-1.5 mins total and see how my bicep/shoulder does. If there’s not a spike in pain, I’m allowed to gradually move it up every other day. I’m so pumped!!!

Since I’ve been out due to my shoulder/bicep repair, my biggest hurdle for me has been having to be very limited in my activity. However, proper nutrition is helping me meet my goal of continual weight loss. 🤙🏻

I personally fast breakfast, but I would encourage you to check out the nutrition system in the app that Brandon and Dan developed. There’s some breakfast meals/bowls in there.

Hey, JRD family. I’m almost six weeks post op shoulder surgery. I’m trucking along with physical therapy but still looking at a long recovery.

Brandon shared a video of his weight loss journey when he was injured, so it inspired me to do the same. Since prior to going into surgery to now, I’ve lost 14 lbs by cutting my calories further and keeping my carbs between 50-100. It’s helped speed up the process of my weight loss while I’m limited with physical fitness. I will eventually adjust my macros once I’m released to do more exercises. 🤙🏻

I would encourage you to utilize a stationary bike more than jumping during your healing process. Jumping strengthens your calves but it also puts a lot of stress on them. Maybe lessen your time and amount jumping. Also, roll your calves out and drink plenty of fluid. You got this!
