today i was not feeling it. m1d4 of Max... cardio gauntlet. it wasnt the workout i didnt wanna do... i just didnt want to work out. been in a funk and you know how that goes. my head wasnt in it, and my brain was like, "screw it dude. whats the point."
but i told myself, "the workout isnt going to go away. itll still be there tomorrow." and if i skip a day and have to make it up, it wrecks my 6 days a week thing, and goofs up my routine.
i use preworkout. once i drink it i dont want to waste it because its idiotically expensive. its a little trick i play on myself.
so i got started... grumpy AF.
half way through, i just wanted to quit. it wasnt from fatigue, it was my mind. i just wasnt in the mood. but i looked at dan, looked at the timer... 10 minutes left. ok, half way done. i can make 10 more minutes.
5 minutes left. i f_***_ing got this... still grumpy AF.
finished. happy i did it. i dont feel better about anything other than i did the thing when i totally didnt want to do it.
"tomorrow me" will thank "today me."
my point in sharing this is for anyone not feeling it. if you can get through just 1 workout when you dont feel like it, you can get through 2. and 3. and more.
work on doing sh*t even when you dont want to.

whew... jump/calisthenics in this one were pretty challenging!!! i'll feel that tomorrow for sure. anyone not doing Max... what are you waiting for? LET'S GOOOOO!!!!!!

late to the party but Max launched during my week off. However, any workout that can make me sweat in my freezing cold garage in an Ohio winter earns πππππππfrom me! love Dan's constant coaching and motivation too. makes it even better!

i skipped week 1 since my goals are a bit different than someone starting out new...
but i havent slung the 1lb rope in a long time... whew what a challenge.
and my butt hurts from leg day :)

wrapped it up today. definitely lost body fat during this program... without a doubt. I've done all 3 workout plans now, and after this, I'm going back to Swole Samurai to put some muscle back on. Might or might not do a day 6 tomorrow, but either way, taking a week off before Swole. JRD90 is def the most challenging workout... imo.
