Some may know the 10.000 steps/day was created as a slogan for a Japanese pedometer company during the 1964 Tokyo Olympics πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Nevertheless I’ve adopted this as my daily goal so today was close between a cross country road trip and a sedentary birthday I ended up at just over 5k steps..

Bey hell if I’m going to kill my step streak so an late evening walk followed by some light jumping/walking in the living room and BOOM πŸ’₯ 10k steps 😁

Does it matter πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ in the long run probably not! From a mindset perspective, HELL YES! Set a target and got it done by whatever was needed..

So it’s not about being perfect, it’s about you and me getting it done it’s for us to #DoTheThing whatever that is to you πŸ™πŸ»

So can we agree to set and reach our targets and goals πŸ’ͺ🏻 and do WHATEVER we need to do to reach them? YOU set that goal yourself, don’t be the one letting yourself done πŸ™πŸ»

So today turned out to become a recovery day, tight calf’s! πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

But knowing I can always swap in a longer morning walk keeps me active I do truely believe walking is the best medicine πŸ™πŸ»

Recently upped the intensity in my workouts but haven’t changed anything in regards to recovery so that’s next 😁

So today was another session with total lack of motivation πŸ˜”didn’t change the fact that I got it done βœ…

These morning where the joy is only from finishing is hard… but it’s scheduled, I’m up so might as well #DoTheThing πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ ended up with a decent workout anyhow so it’s all good..

Can’t wait for my caps to arrive and give me that +10% endurance 🧒

Mornings πŸ‘‹πŸ»

So today was ALL about going through the motions, no energy, no motivation, NO EXCUSE!

Got it done βœ… not pretty but still it’s 06:00 AM and most probably are still in bed πŸ’ͺ🏻

To my fellow AM jumpers any tricks to wake your body up? It’s 15-20 in to a session for me when my body actually are ready to go!

Start off at 04:55 walking 2,2k with my dog just to get the body moving before my jump rope session.. would love to hear if anybody has a good idea to cut that 20min down to 5min πŸ’ͺ🏻

Mornings from DK πŸ‡©πŸ‡°

So last night I had terrible sleep (4,5 hours) and woke several times with sore calf’s 🀯

So naturally I decided to skip today’s workout and just went on a walk πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ took one of my stable routes (6,5k ~ 4 miles.

Adapt and conquer πŸ’ͺ🏻

Hi fam πŸ‘‹πŸ»

Didn’t get to post yesterday or this morning, life πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Yesterday got a night visit from the kiddo so couldn’t get my training gear out (without walking her) so decided to take a 6.5 km walk πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ ended the day with +20,000 steps

But today I got my jump rope session in, it was brutal. Had a fair sleep but I under eta yesterday, 900 kcal below my target 🎯. So wasn’t feeling it much at 05:30AM but we get it done πŸ’ͺ🏻

Hi fam πŸ‘‹πŸ»

So this morning I had some Greek Yoghurt that needed to be eaten or thrown out, so I decided to do breakfast. I'm normally fasting until 12:00 noon.

What I've started to realize is, when I do get breakfast I'm much more hungry during the day and can really snack at anytime πŸ€” anyone else have the same feeling.

Not a big issue, gonna get back to 16:8 fasting again tomorrow, but just though I would share it, if anyone have that snacking-sensation maybe IF can help with that.

Woke up with pain in my lower back, and could barely tie my shoes 😫

Decided to skip jumping and just get some steps in.. currently 08:45 AM and I’m at 7.800 steps for the day πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Gotta do what we can, right πŸ’ͺ🏻

Hi fam πŸ‘‹πŸ»

So before I got, back into jumping, I considered myself as a fairly good jumper.. then pause roughly 1 year 😰

Workouts are both shorter and less intense that before. And surely I know it’s gonna get better but my god, it’s hard not to push through πŸ˜‚

Another workout done βœ… zero motivation, a great pull towards the kitchen pots.. but nope we got it done..
