Fave rope? Probably the half pounder, but the quarter pounder has my heart too! I also love coffee, knitting, crocheting, and quilting!

Today was not my day… kept tripping, fell behind at one point during the workout, and really just did not want to do the thing today.

But I did it anyway! And I’m feeling amazing after finishing a good sweat of a workout. I did manage to catch up and get to 3000 skips, which feels really good.

Anybody who’s waffling back and forth between should I or shouldn’t I…. Do what Dan says, and just do the thing!!!!! 🔥

(Really looking forward to that recovery day tomorrow… ☺️)

Starting week 2 of the heavy rope program of month 2. Day 1 is in the books, and I managed to beat a couple numbers from last week!

840/1000 1lb skips - which is up an extra 40 skips (yay!), 350/500 2lb skips, and I managed to finish all 100 pushups - on the knees - for this workout! 🤩

I got in my sweat for the day, and now I’m ready to enjoy the rest of my afternoon. Happy days dudes and dudettes! ☀️

M2D5 of the heavy ropes was 🔥 🔥 🔥Possibly my favourite for this month! Managed to keep up with the skipping and the bodyweight exercises, outside of the 1lb set. But I did make it to a total of 885/1000!

Excited to have the 1/2lb rope again, it just pumps me up so much! About half way through, I felt like I was absolutely flying. 😎 Do the thing, dudes and dudettes!

Man, I can not explain how much I LOVED today’s workout. M2D4 of the heavy rope program has me beat!

But I love it for 2 reasons… first of all - is it just me, or does anyone else have to practically sprint to TRY and keep up with Dan?? No matter how fast I go, he’s always 10-20 skips ahead of me! I love this because I’m pushing hard with the lighter ropes. Second reason, so many of Dan’s talking points hit home HARD and it’s so motivating. Even if you feel like you’re failing, just keep going!

Thank you Dan for the awesome workouts and the amazing jump rope rants. 😎

M2D3 of the heavy ropes is done, and felt perfect for a Saturday! Love that Dan is focusing a bit on recovery. Today felt great!

I never have - and probably never will - enjoy pushups, but followed along as best I could anyway. Stuck with knee pushups, and only went up to sets of 10 (that’s currently my max I can do in a row) so I managed 80/100 pushups today. Feeling good! Happy weekend dudes and dudettes!

Heavy rope M2D2 is done! Loved getting to chill out with just the 1/4lb rope. Definitely worked on my speed to keep up with Dan! Ready for day 3!

Today just about killed me! 😅 Day 1 of month 2 in the heavy rope program is done, and I am toast… Managed to keep up with the 1/4lb section, did 80/100 in the 1lb section, and had to rest out on 3 sets of the 2lb section mostly because I just couldn’t catch my breath! But fit in 350/500 2lb skips. I’m hoping by the end of month 2, I can complete all 500 with the beast!

As far as pushups go, I’m sticking with knee pushups, and managed to get 90/100 pushups. Excited to see what kind of progress month 2 will get me!

Today may just be a plain ol’ Tuesday, but today is the day I finished month 1 of the heavy rope program! 🥳

Feeling celebratory today! Averaged 86/100 of Dan’s skips in the 1lb sets during today’s workout, which marks an all time high for me for the day 5 workout!

My Monday is certainly starting off on the right foot. Just beat last weeks numbers by 140 skips! 🎉

Just completed day 4 of month 1 in the heavy rope program and reached a total of 2620 skips with the 1 pounder. Feeling pumped and so excited! Today I felt fast with the 1lb rope and it’s so motivating to notice that kind of progress throughout a program. Hoping that this is a good indication that I’m ready for month 2!

Conquered the beast - aka the 2 pounder - on this drizzly Saturday! Last go around for day 3 of month 1 in the heavy rope program. Just working on skipping my best, and taking things one day at a time. 😎
