Mixing it up a little this morning with this workout I pieced together : 3 min skip warm up, then did as many sets of squats, crunches, 40 skips as I could in 15 min. I lost count but think I did around 20-22 sets… Then completed 2k skips in 15 min with the 1/4 and 1/2 pound ropes.

So excited for the heavy rope program to be released!!! Looks like July 15 is the day. I am on a short vacation from July 15-19 so I will start the program on July 20!!! Can’t wait!! I have been going back through different programs and doing all my favorite workouts, but excited for a new program!

Did a little EMOM burner today… 10 min “warm up” of 45 second jump 15 sec rest followed by 20 min of EMOM with 10 doubles, 40 sprint, 10 jumping jacks. A good cardio for sure and the shoulders were 🔥 🔥 🔥

Today I did the new heavy rope workout.

8 sets of 30 seconds on, 10 seconds off for 5 circuits. Circuits were wi th the 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, and 1/4 pound rope. The 2 pound circuit was 🔥 going to be feeling this one for a couple days!! Can’t wait for heavy rope program to release!

Haven’t been posting much lately but still here doing the thing 5-6 times a week!! Did 4k skip workout today and then a 4 mile walk! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I have been a little MIA as far as posting goes - life is just been! But still skipping almost everyday of the week. With active rest days here and there of course! I’m working back through the dumbbell program and loving it all over again. Just finished up my second week of month 1. Nice to have the dumbbells back in my hands! But of course I love the pure cardio days as well. Keep doing the thing special humans!!

Been going back through the total body torch and right now I’m in week 4, but I mixed it up today and did the 4k skip workout instead. It’s my favorite workout cause I love to compete with myself. Today I did it in 28 min 13 seconds. 11 seconds off my personal best, but it felt great!!! 💪🏼

MAN, finally back in the game! I got sick with the flu back on february 18… it wiped me out hard for 10 days. Last week I stuck to walking and waiting to fully recover. Today I finally got to jump!! I started the total body torch over again and boy did it burn. Good news though, although my body is sore my lungs felt great! Hadn’t been wiped out like that in a while. Happy to be healthy and back to normal!!

Holy cow… the flu wiped me out for almost two weeks. Haven’t been that sick in a VERY long time. My body (and lungs) are still recovering, but I can start moving a bit today. Will probably spend a few days getting some walks in and then get back to skipping by the weekend. Nothing like being sick to make me SO grateful for my health! Can’t wait to pick the rope back up.
