Still cruising through the summer shred!!! Enjoying the mix up of workouts as I had been doing the dumbbell program (two times through) since January. Enjoying getting some double unders back in the mix and some good plyo moves. Looking forward to the rest of the workout week!! Keep doin the thing everybody 💪🏼

Week 1 of the summer shred was completed last week and week 2 will begin tomorrow for me! Usually start my workout week on Monday, but have to adjust this week and do Tuesday through Saturday. Had a busy weekend of working a basketball tournament from 7 am to 10 pm each day and my rest days included two 20,000 step days.. we will say that’s pretty active rest. Gonna give myself a light day today and then get back to my regular schedule tomorrow. Keep crushing it everybody!!!

Week 1 day 3 done! Forgot how much I love these workouts with very little rest time. Been doing the dumbbell workouts for last 6 months so was used to longer rest time. Love the dumbbell program too but enjoying the summer shred plyo and jump series!!!

Week 1 day 2 done on the summer shred today!! Hope you all had a great day and got it done!! Been jumping consistently now since March of 2020 🤯 Still wild to think that the COVID pandemic brought me to this little skippin thing I have come to love. Keep getting after it everybody and make it a great rest of the week!!

W1D1 of summer shred challenge complete 💪🏼💪🏼 did 1,000 skips to warm up and then crushed the workout. Had a long day of travel today coming back home from a quick weekend trip. More of a morning person, so I hate having to squeeze workouts in later in the day but it felt so good once I did it!! Back to my regular scheduled programming with an early AM workout tomorrow for day two. Keep doin the thing everybody!!

4k skip workout today and got 4k in 29 min flat!!! Been trying to keep decreasing my time on 4k and might bump up to 5k soon and go for 5k in 35. Tough task!!

On month 2 of dumbbell program (the second time)… did the 4k skip today which is my favorite workout…. AND I beat Dan’s challenge of 4k in under 30 minutes… I did it in 29 min 19 seconds!! Feeling pretty proud this morning!!!! 👏🏼 I had the video going along with Dan and just kept trying to get further ahead. It felt awesome!

Been working my way through dumbbell program for the second time but have increased jump rope weight on many of the workouts to 1/2 pound and increased my weight on some of the lifts too! Thought I might get bored going through it again, but not all! 💪🏼💪🏼

Been doing some of the “daily workouts” for this week and then going to restart the dumbbell program next week!! Just wanted a little change for a few days before getting back to the weights!! I do love the daily workouts as well because it is always a surprise as to what the workout is, but I’m partial to the dumbbells at this point. Don’t want to lose my muscles! 💪🏼

Dudes, I am almost done with jumprope and dumbbell program… a couple weeks left, and let me tell you.. I got muscles like I didn’t know I had!! I played college basketball and lifted all the time into my mid 20’s. Stopped lifting and ran marathons, then found jumprope in 2020 when everything shut down. Haven’t stopped since. And my bicep muscles are popping like nothing has ever made them pop before. I’m built pretty small, but now I’m small with muscles!!! 💪🏼 will be doing jumprope and DB program a second time through for sure!!
