Today was TOUGH! W1D4 of the DBJR program - I pushed myself to the point of stopping and having to throw up and take a break. Maybe TMI? Haven’t done that in years since my military days 🤣 I have always loved a good challenge but it has been a VERY long time since I’ve pushed myself this hard. Besides my moments by the porcelain thrown - I maintained a 130-155 heart rate and I’m pretty happy about that.
Good freaking morning JRD fam. Have a kick ass day today! 💪

W1D3 DB+JR Program - kinda haha
So Friday I did day 1 and then we ended up hiking 3 days in a row so yesterday I did a “rest” by jumping along to your highway vid on YT… that was actually awesome! Dan Witmer
Today did day 3 lower body and loved it just as much as day one. I have been rehabbing my back and this was awesome pace, great to focus on form.
Something Dan mentioned in the highway video was focusing the wrists at the hips and it totally makes sense. Today I actually found major success in almost squeezing my back and activating my lats - hope that makes sense. Took less focus off my timing and my wrists and I nailed 100 skips in a row several times!!!
Today was a success! 💪

W1D1 of JRD DB&JR program. Yesterday just practiced jumping I was so frustrated with my form. Then went on a hike so started the program today even though its Friday lol 🤦🏻♀️. I freaking loved it. Stuck to single/regular skips.
After seeing the correct form from the side I finally figured out why my rope felt short. I was holding my hands and elbows way too far in front of my hips. Can't believe I was always doing these wrong before this lol. Pulled them back and got so much better! Just gotta get use to it now and relearn.
💭🛌Now tonight ill be dreamin about getting my boxer skip. Hope you all have/had a great day!

Hi there! Newbie from Las Vegas here and stoked to be in. This app is exactly what I was looking for… the YT channel is awesome but damn this is cool…follow along workouts yes please and thank you.
I am starting phase three of a massive transformation I’ve been on for a year and a half or so. I’ve lost 78lbs in the last year-ish and have another 75ish to drop.
At this point I’m not so concerned with the weight but more so my mental and physical strength and stamina. I’m so excited to be adding the jump rope to my life.
I’ve dabbled back in the day with CrossFit and loved it, I’m looking to make this my new baby haha.
Traveling to Europe in a few weeks where I will be jumping in Ireland, Netherlands, Germany and Austria but then will be back to Vegas jumping back at home. QUESTION: tips for traveling with a mat? We are carry on only travelers and I’m worried about space/weight with the mat… 🧐
Excited to connect, learn and support along side you all. 🖤 ✨🤘🏼🌴 Sidenote: My crossrope is currently out for delivery! Let’s do this!
