Shelly Bynum if Tuesday and Thursday are high step days and you get more tired on those days, perhaps that’s the days you make sure to hit 12k.

So Mon-, Wed-, and Friday are the days where you have a little more energy and that’s the days you jump 🙂

Shelly Bynum well safety over step count, no doubt about that 😁

8-12k is that effortless for you? Could you perhaps increase that to 10-12k so on your ‘low’ days you actively add in a few houndred/thousand steps?

Also days you are off the ropes maybe try to get to the 12k mark as a low-impact substitute 🤷🏻‍♂️

Neeks please don’t push through the pain.. I did that and have been dealing with the knees ever since, never seeming to completely recover 😞

My issues came about a year into jumping 5-day a week so naturally I didn’t think much of it, I mean this is what my body is used to, right!

My advice is to take a day of two off to have inflammation go away.

Remember a day or two won’t mess up your journey over the long run. But a serious injury might keep you out of the game for 3-4 months (did for me) 🙏🏻

Yes, I’m walking the dog twice a day (AM and PM) and have a job that requires me to walk “a lot” giving me 5-8k steps per day.

I have found a few routes in my neighbourhood that are approximately 3k, 4.5k, 6k, and 9k steps ranging from 25- to 75-minutes so I can generally “hit” my daily target with one of those walks in the PM 🙂

Sleigh the Scale day 8 of 20
So I woke up, still some minor swelling in the knee 😒 so it’s gonna be a day of walking again..
6PM and almost 10k steps so still on track to reach the 16k for a ‘active-rest-day’.
Let’s see if a little more IR/laser will help me back on the ropes for tomorrow? 🙏🏻

UPDATE: got to the 16k steps so I’ll call it a day, see you tomorrow

Shelly Bynum you and me both 🙈 but hey remember one slow day is way better than a week off from recovery ❤️‍🩹

Listen to your body and you will come out stronger 💪🏻

Sleigh the scale day 7 of 20
Knee is acting up again, so decided to take a ‘slow’ day and to equate for the lack of jumping my step goal for today is 16k.
Even if we need some low impact days, we still need to be moving 🚶
Some walking, stretching, and a little IR/laser treatment and hopefully I’ll be back on the ropes tomorrow 🙏🏻
UPDATE: +18k steps by 10PM so mission accomplished

I would start with boxer skip, it will help give some relief to your legs during your jumping intervals 🥊
