Month 2 week 1 of heavy rope program complete. I’ll take an active rest day tomorrow and get back after it Saturday or Sunday. Been bad about posting each day but loving the heavy rope workouts. Day 5 in month 2 workouts snuck up on me today. Didn’t seem that tough at first but by the end I was really feeling it. Thanks Dan for the great workouts!!!

Week 2 day 1 of heavy rope workout complete!!! I know I’m behind everyone but had to take a little break after week 1 due to injury. Felt good to be back to full speed, high intensity!!

A few weeks back I started the heavy rope program with y’all. Was ready for the new challenge! On week 1 day 5 I pulled my calf muscle pretty bad. Had to rest for week two (did biking, light walking, paddle boarding) then eased back into jumping this week (week 3 of program). Now I’m behind everyone but happy to say I get to restart the heavy program this coming week, body feels ready!!! Keep doing the thing everybody!!

I’m baaaaack!!!! Sheesh, only been out of commission for a few little over a week but calf is back to normal and going to continue through this week with 1/4 and 1/2 pound rope only for workouts. Will restart heavy rope program this Sunday!! Yahoo!

Did some jumping this morning with the 1/4 and 1/2. Still not back to full speed will continue to ease back into it to avoid reinjuring the calf. Takes more discipline for me to “take it easy” than it does for me to push myself so this is a good lesson in listening to the body. Will continue with lighter ropes this week until I feel 100 percent. I will restart heavy rope program once I’m back to 💯

No jumping for me since Sunday 😩 Calf is improving. Biked a lot this week, paddle boarded and managed to get a long walk in today to test out the calf. Felt pretty good. Another couple days and I’ll start working back in the skipping and then I’ll get back to heavy rope program once I’m fully healthy. Sad I’m missing out on it right now, but I’ll complete it once I’m healthy again.

Major FOMO right now not getting to complete week 2 of heavy rope challenge 😭😭 Calf injury seems to be improving slowly. Trying not to rush it. In the meantime been biking and paddleboarding. Ropes are waiting patiently for me.. was hoping to be able to resume jumping today. Thinking it’s going to take most of this week to heal up. Patience is hard, man. Y’all keep it up!!! Be back skipping soon!

Apparently what I thought was a cramp in my calf this morning seems to be a mild muscle strain of some kind. I’m super upset. Haven’t had an injury in a while and now right when new program releases I injure myself after the first week. Going to have to take it easy with no jumping the next few days and go from there…. Keep working everybody and stay healthy

Week 1 of the heavy rope program has been 🔥!!! Have been looking for a good challenge to continue to grow and incorporating the heavy ropes is just want my body needed!!! Looking forward to the rest of month 1 and excited to work through month 2 and 3 when we get there. Keep working everybody!!
