Thank you! I honestly have no real nutrition program. I just try to eat a light breakfast (coffee+water+bread+fruit+ jam/butter); a sandwich or small portion of rice with some kind of meat and veggies for lunch; and whatever is on the table for dinner.

I try to fast at least twice each week by either skipping a meal, not eating anything ,or not having more than 2 slices of bread with salt plus water.

Lastly, I workout 5 x per week to burn off any extra cals. Hope this helps.

I do plan a more regimented meal plan soon (steamed/boiled meals only with less rice and no grease, etc).

I find overthinking food to be mentally. unsound. It ruins to experience of simply being active.

Thanks,Alletta! Will keep trying. Thanks for the positive comments.

Created this compilation of my JRD trek from day 1 to the last day of the Dumbbell program. This is to show that even a 48-year-old slob like me can survive this program with determination. Loved it and will keep it up indefinitely. The jean-jacketed selfie is just me being a goofball, don't mind me. I was trying for a 90s model vibe haha. Thank you for the motivation, JRD family and Dan!

Congrats!

You too. I bet the pastries in the Netherlands are irresistible. Happy Easter to you, too.

Haha well I did not eat them all! Haha. I just ate about 4 of them and saved the rest for my wife and kids. Yes, I agree about the nausea but I do this to remind myself "why" I started exercising and that it is ok to enjoy life/food provided one burns off the excess calories. I love coffee and pastries/donuts but I keep them in check. Thanks for your comment. Figures coming...

To celebrate my last day of round 1 of the JRD DB PROGRAM, I took my son out and we ate a dozen donuts. I will then proceed to incinerate these calories by intensely executing M3W4D5.
Thank you,JRD. Since discovering the 1-month weight-loss program, a few years ago, you have been an integral part of my life. Because of you, I have curbed major health problems and become a livelier, more energized father, husband, son, and elementary school teacher(a job that requires serious stamina). I have no major external transformation to show, but internally I am renewed. After repeating this program I am sure the outwards changes will show. Either way, I am not going back to who I was prior to first clicking on a JRD vid...
