W1D3 DB+JR Program - kinda haha

So Friday I did day 1 and then we ended up hiking 3 days in a row so yesterday I did a β€œrest” by jumping along to your highway vid on YT… that was actually awesome! Dan Witmer

Today did day 3 lower body and loved it just as much as day one. I have been rehabbing my back and this was awesome pace, great to focus on form.

Something Dan mentioned in the highway video was focusing the wrists at the hips and it totally makes sense. Today I actually found major success in almost squeezing my back and activating my lats - hope that makes sense. Took less focus off my timing and my wrists and I nailed 100 skips in a row several times!!!

Today was a success! πŸ’ͺ

Kevin very cool 😎 no pun intended

Happy Saturday! Looks amazing! Getting it in this afternoon πŸ™ŒπŸΌ dog walks take priority in my mornings but going to start jumping before walks I think… trying to figure this routine out still, without overthinking it πŸ˜‚ 🧐

W1D1 of JRD DB&JR program. Yesterday just practiced jumping I was so frustrated with my form. Then went on a hike so started the program today even though its Friday lol πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ. I freaking loved it. Stuck to single/regular skips.

After seeing the correct form from the side I finally figured out why my rope felt short. I was holding my hands and elbows way too far in front of my hips. Can't believe I was always doing these wrong before this lol. Pulled them back and got so much better! Just gotta get use to it now and relearn.

πŸ’πŸ›ŒNow tonight ill be dreamin about getting my boxer skip. Hope you all have/had a great day!

Aletta Armee absolutely haha I’m planning on it! I use to live in Germany for several years. I’m sure I’ll get acclimated eventually but will have my parka just in case πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰
