Another great workout, week 3 day 4 of DB + JR. Love that I’m drenched after my workouts.

Aletta Armee luckily I don’t eat chips, cookies, etc. but I use whole milk and Dr.Google says unfiltered coffee like espresso, or other brewing methods that don’t use a filter can increase cholesterol. I got a Ninja Luxe machine in March and have been making a cold brew daily, and homemade lattes on weekends and if I want hot coffee, I love a good cup from a percolator. I do use 2 filters in the percolator, top and bottom.

Week 3 Day 3 of DB + JR. This month is so much fun.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll probably forgo the Mac and cheese dishes, and pick better options whenever I purchase from the company. I was so focused on hitting protein and keeping carbs in check, I didn’t think about saturated fat. I’m exercising and taking psyllium husk and fish oil, I figured I was doing great. Live and learn.

Just finished week 3 day 2 of DB+JR. What a great workout. Got hit with some disappointing news, my triglycerides shot up 25 points to 175. Not sure what I need to fix. I eat from Clean Eatz a ton, but I tend to choose Mac and cheese meals. I also use some orange juice in my smoothie (yogurt, protein powder and some juice to blend it up). I’ve also been going nuts on homemade chipotle bowls and use a ton of bison and ground beef. But my soda intake has been increasing, as has my latte intake. I make my lattes at home using Fairlife whole milk. I feel like my exercise is good, since I’m doing a jump rope program in addition to walking on my desk treadmill at work for about an hour and also walk at lunch plus getting in a swim lately. I also take psyllium husk and fish oil. Not sure where to start my tweaks. Being 45 sucks! I thought I was killing it since I’ve been losing weight.

DB + JR program W3D1- I think this is my favorite workout of the week. I’m using bands because I’m nursing a shoulder injury, still effective!

Just do what you can. If it’s 1 push-up from the knees, just do that.
