Hi fam ๐Ÿ‘‹
Today is a shitty day, and did not get enough or good sleep ๐Ÿ’ค so decided to make it a recovery day..
Always nice to have a recovery session to โ€˜fall back onโ€™ whenever needed.
Have a great day all ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Thanks Shelly ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Truth be told, Iโ€™m in a bad place right now! But thatโ€™s where a community like this, with comments like yours, makes it all a bit easier to go through.

Hi fam ๐Ÿ‘‹
Day two of being back to jumping, today was hard (mental fatigue and DOMS in my quads) so I was just going through the motions..
But hey I just dobled my streak of consecutive days jumping ๐Ÿ˜‰ build that routine one day at a time ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
Have a great day all ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Really doesnโ€™t matter which measurement you use, pick whichever you prefer.

With weekly weigh-in be aware you can hit a high or low day, and therefore you might see large fluctuations in your weight.

Another method that would give you a better result would be to weigh yourself 5 or 7 days every week, and take the median number (not average, but the weight the number in the model when you remove the highs, and lows) and this is your โ€˜weekly weightโ€™.

Based upon, types foods, water intake, sleep, stress and more your weight can fluctuate +-5lbs a day.

Shelly Bynum well doing conventional resistance training you will be feeling sore, but if you still feel sore two days later, when you go train again, you over did your training (my rule of thumb ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป).

Who says you canโ€™t jump rope into your 70โ€™s and 80โ€™s believe it was on the Crossrope FB community we had a lady, think, she was 85 years and still jumped ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Carl Harrower saw Joe De Luca mentioning the JRD Nutrition System which has a lot of good recipes and gives you a decent idea on how to set together a meal.

And then do as Dan Witmer says keep 5-6-8 recipes in rotation, one; you will get better and better at making there dishes, two; if you know youโ€™ll have it more that once this week you can save time by prepping (takes almost no additional time cooking 2 servings over 1, or 4 over 2) ๐Ÿ˜

Dan Witmer is there a feature in the app to have a โ€˜second communityโ€™ perhaps it would be beneficial to have a dedicated section for us to share some of our favourite meals.

Having it separate would make it easier when looking for inspiration ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

So itโ€™s the age old debate between strength training and cardiovascular training ๐Ÿฅณ

In short (my own opinion from what Iโ€™ve seen, heard, and read) you want to do both. But the most important muscle is not (unfortunately) the bicep ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ it is your heart ๐Ÿซ€. Nobody woul like to sit back at 90 with massive biceps but a failing heart..

So I would suggest you do these workouts that mixes jump rope and body weight exercises. Should be enough to maintain the muscles you currently have. If you add in 2-3 days of full body resistance training you should be good to last a life time ๐Ÿ˜‰

Shelly Bynum yes know about him and a few others that advocate for a zero carbohydrate diet but I just never felt that energy most of them say they get, maybe ๐Ÿค” I should try it again but start out without IF ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Not sure what Iโ€™m gonna do but something gotta change
